This film shows the construction of Shimmy which is a piece of artwork by Alison Wilding. The piece was commissioned by the Crown Estate and Exemplar for their development at 10 New Burlington Street in London. It is constructed from 400 individual stripes of mirror-polished steel and it contains 28 coloured acrylic spheres caught in the upper layers of the sculpture.
